Print secondary tags

When searching a package tag in the T3 search bar it brings up an image of the tag & barcode. Assuming that barcode is accurate, it would be helpful if there was some kind of print option.

Given we're required to put the UID on each individual turkey bag having an easy way to print the tag would be helpful.

The barcode is accurate. What kind of printer would you be using?

Probably a regular printer on avery labels. I think that's the most simple setup although others may do something different.

Putting UID on bottom is so tedious if you can think of any other technology to make it quick & easy I think it would be helpful!

That might not be that hard then if it's basically just generating a PDF. What is the exact label size you're using? I'll order some and experiment.

I'm thinking this will be best: https://www.avery.com/templates/8160

Ordered some labels to experiment with, I'll follow up when there's something to experiment with.

If the same could be done generating a PDF document that is 3” x 1” or better yet a custom size, that would be amazing. I use a Rollo thermal printer but using 3” x 1” PDFs work just fine. I have to hand-write the metrc item name on the back of each metrc tag, so if it could generate a PDF with both the barcode, tag number, and item name, that would be incredible.

I'll experiment to see how difficult it is to support multiple sizes. In theory it's just stacking rectangles and getting them to line up.

Send me the Avery label number and I'll add support.

I also use a rollo thermal printer and would love a custom size option.

Finally got the printing to behave! Going out in the next release.

                                            Love this!

Would it be possible to have the option to add the "Item Name" onto the secondary tags under the barcode along with the UID # ?

I say option because some may not want it.

Update: the feedback and requests about label printing has been significant. I'm currently in the process of rolling out a v2 with more label support and additional features
